Luke Chapter 24
Luke 24 opens with grief and confusion, but it does not end there. The women arrive at the tomb expecting death, only to find it empty. The message they receive is simple and life-changing: “He is not here. He has risen.” Hope enters the story where despair once lived.
As Jesus appears to His followers, fear turns into joy and confusion gives way to understanding. He opens their minds to Scripture, helping them see how everything pointed to this moment. Resurrection is not an afterthought. It is the fulfillment of God’s promise from the beginning.
Jesus commissions His followers to carry this good news into the world. The story does not end at the empty tomb. It continues through those who believe and share the message of resurrection hope.
Luke ends with worship, joy, and purpose. Because Jesus lives, faith continues. Because He is risen, hope remains alive.
Reflection Verse: “He is not here He has risen.” Luke 24:6
